Professional Background

Joseph Plourde began his career with Equitable Advisors as a Financial Consultant in July of 2000. In 2002 he was promoted to Vice President of the Northeastern Division of Equitable Advisors with the responsibility of recruitment, training and the mentoring new financial associates. After spending seven years in that role, Joe decided to focus solely on his practice and working closely with his clients. In 2011 he joined TPS Financial as a Partner Joe has earned multiple awards and recognition from Equitable Advisors as a National Leaders Corp and Centurion qualifier. Joe is passionate about working with his clients in risk management, wealth accumulation, estate and retirement planning strategies.

His process in completing a financial strategy consists of:

• Analyzing your financial situation to develop a clear picture of your specific goals and needs.
• Designing a sound financial strategy that takes into account the full range of needs you have now and in the future.
• Periodically reviewing and updating your strategies, risk tolerance and making appropriate adjustments to help keep your plan on track.

Joseph maintains the series 7, 66 and 24 FINRA securities registrations, as well as Life & Health Insurance Licenses in various states.

Investment Focuses

Upon joining TPS as a Partner, Joe focuses on Wealth Accumulation and Risk Management which have become his priority.  He develops a clear picture with his clients of their goals and designs a sound strategy to help address current and future needs. Joe Plourde establishes a systematic review with his clients to continuously update their risk tolerance in the present market. This facilitates adjustments in Financial and Retirement Planning strategies to include the most current regulations and available vehicles for his client’s risk tolerance.

Joseph Plourde and his family reside in Emerson, NJ. He prides himself on his community activities and values the time he spends with his wife and two children.
