Professional Background

Brian is a Partner at TPS Financial and has been a Financial Consultant with Equitable Advisors, LLC since 2006. During his tenure he has provided retirement and investment advice to over 1,000 businesses and individuals. He earned a BA in Communications and Business from the University of Oklahoma. Brian holds his FINRA Series 7 (Registered Representative) and 66 (Investment Advisor Representative) registrations through his broker-dealer and investment advisor, Equitable Advisors, LLC, and Life and Health licenses in NJ, NY, PA, CT, NC, OK, MO, CA. He has been a member of Equitable Advisors National Leaders Forum since 2009. At 37 years old Brian was inducted into the Equitable lifetime hall of fame.

Investment Focuses

Brian focuses on helping non-profit organizations, school districts, and individuals through their financial planning process. Since he was an undergraduate, he knew his primary focus in the finance world was to assist hard working people in their planning for retirement and financial security. Brian’s father, Jeffrey Trause, is a fellow TPS financial professional. The two have formed a partnership lasting more than a decade that has thrived due to their family’s ethical commitment to excellence in wealth management.

Personal

Brian, his wife Stephanie, and son Thomas reside in Brick, NJ. He and his father Jeff work together at the TPS Point Pleasant Beach office. Brian was a three time national champion and an All American at the University of Oklahoma. He maintains an active lifestyle with his friends and family. His membership in the Kiwanis Club has given him the opportunity to offer a meaningful involvement in his community.
